Fine Art Photography from the Ocean to the Mountains... and all the Desert in between

The beautiful endurance of suffering

I love sunrises.  I do NOT love getting out of bed at 0500 (or earlier in summer) and getting dressed to go and shoot a scene where the weather may or may not cooperate.  I know that a large part of landscape photography is luck.  Not every morning in Las Vegas has clouds in the sky.  And sometimes those clouds bring a temperamental meteorological episode.  But... bad weather = good photos... and like a lot of things the end result is often worth the effort and, sometimes, enduring the pain and suffering that goes with that effort.   Hey, nothing lasts forever except first impressions.  Right?
